Full-Figured Women

Unfortunately, there is a social stigma against full-figured women wearing swimwear. One may be surprised to know that there are women who refuse to own a bathing suit, just because they are full figured. These women do not even feel it is possible to look great in one, so they completely avoid going swimming. If they do, it is typically in a full black bathing suit, or something along those lines that completely covers them from neck to toe. This does not only get in the way of their social lives, but can potentially ruin it. Having full figured women looking sexy in swimwear is not only possible, it happens more than women tend to realize. A problem most full figured ladies face is that they are looking for tons of material to drape their bodies. In reality, the only problem is that a woman thinks she has to hide her figure at all. Every woman from a small frame to a large frame has a unique body shape, and bathing suits will sit differently on each one; therefore, there are a few tips to keep in mind while searching for the perfect bathing suit.

Colors and patterns are very important in all types of apparel, especially when it comes to wearing a bathing suit. Every woman has to find a suit that fits her unique size and shape. If a woman has larger hips for instance, and wants to make them appear smaller than is possible. A bathing suit that is one color and has black patters near the hip area helps to create a smaller illusion. Unfortunately there are many women who would opt for a dark one dimensional bathing suit piece, because they think it helps them appear thinner. It is not about trying to appear thinner, but rather trying to accent the right parts of that woman's body. However, women do have to be careful about accenting the right areas. For instance, if there is not enough material in the buttocks area, the material can ride up causing exposure. Not only can this be embarrassing, but painfully annoying as well. Another area that needs to have enough material to be covered is the chest. Some designers will try to add padding or a bra to a bathing suit so it will look better. A bra that lifts and separates could make one look great, but extra padding may only give the appearance of extra weight. Above all, it is most vital to be comfortable in the suit that is chosen.

Many full figured women will feel constrained to a one-piece suit, because in the past that seemed to over take the market. Having a barely covering bathing suit may not be every woman's forte, but there are two piece suits that offer more coverage. Chic sheer jackets for women to wear over a swimsuit near a pool are also produced. The most important thing for a full-figured woman wanting to be sexy in swimwear is for her to feel as comfortable as possible.

Extreme Sunburn is Painful

Wearing a fashionable bikini on the beach is a liberating feeling, but extreme sunburn is a painful consequence to sun exposure if you lack the proper amount of preparation and protection. Sunscreen is an imperative, front line defense to stay safe in the sun. Using a sunscreen with an SPF level of at least 50 will shield against sunburn. If your skin is extremely sensitive to the sun, you may want to use a sunscreen of 100 SPF or higher. If you are seeking a tan, avoid using only tanning oil because it offers minimal sun protection. Apply a sunscreen that has “broad spectrum “on the label for excellent for protection against UVA and UVB sun rays. Be sure to apply it at least thirty minutes before you plan to lounge under the sun. Waterproof sunscreen is absolutely necessary if you intend to go swimming in a bikini outdoors. A spray-on sunscreen is quite helpful for applying sunscreen on your back and other hard-to reach zones. Be sure to purchase fresh sunscreen every two years to ensure it works effectively when you truly need it.
Clothing and beach accessories can be truly helpful to preserve your skin. Using a beach umbrella on the sand can help to shield skin from obtaining sunburn. Donning a hat in the sun prevents sensitive facial skin from developing blotches and wrinkles faster than normal. Make sure that your hat has an extra wide brim to grant you had and shoulders shade. Wearing wrap-around shades is also wise for adequately protecting your eyes from every angle. Be sure to take along a full-length cover-up to use when necessary to limit prolonged exposure.
Some clothing also offers a slight amount of UV protection as
directed on its label. Long sleeved sheer shirts allow some airflow and offer a thin, breathable layer of protection. Every person reacts differently to the sun, so keep your unique level of sun sensitivity in mind when you gather your accessories and clothing items.

Simple precautions must be used to prevent sun damage in a swimsuit. Covering your entire body with sunscreen is crucial to avoid getting burned on forgotten areas of your body. Apply a wholesome amount of sunscreen for an ample amount of sun protection. Be sure to reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours all over to maintain balanced protection In addition, getting a suntan in a bikini is best done in a few sessions over the course of a few days to guard against hazardous overexposure to achieve a deeper skin tone. Drinking plenty of water ensures that you stay hydrated while exposed to the sun. While frolicking in a bikini, be completely prepared to avoid sun damage at all times. The prime time hours for the strongest sun rays are frequent between 10 am and 5 pm. Millions of people become victims to skin peeling, redness, irritation, and even skin cancer by disregarding how harmful sun rays can be in any temperature. You can stay attractive in a bikini without sacrificing your skin by using the proper precautions to ensure your health and comfort.

Mostly Homemade Mom: Cherry Cheesecake Brownies

When I was growing up my Aunt Christine would make this wonderful cake.  It was huge, rich chocolate , creamy cheese cake and some cherries.  It was just simply amazing.  I could never figure out how she make it.  The cheese cake was in the center and the chocolate was still warm when she served it.  It is one of those foods you never forget after eating it.  Besides the love that was poured into this amazing cake, it was topped with cherries.

This cake can never be reproduced, no one has even come close.  My Aunt Christine was just the best desert cook I've ever met.  I believe in my heart she could have out cook many celebrity chef's.

I came across this recipe for Cherry Cheesecake Brownies.  Now it is not my Aunt's recipe and could not replace it.  But if you want to try something close this is the go to recipe.   I was also able to reproduce this recipe with it coming out pretty good.  I'm so not a baker and the instructions are clear and well written.

Enjoy this dessert and remember all those delightful goodies you ate growing up.

Mostly Homemade Mom: Cherry Cheesecake Brownies:

Let me know how it comes and how much you enjoyed it.

Animal Print

Animal print swimwear should be a staple in every woman's summer collection. Animal print patterns are timeless because they exist in nature. The unique designs transcend age barriers, and remain popular among adults, teens, and children. There are a large variety of prints to appeal to every woman’s style as well. For a classic look, one could choose zebra or cheetah print. For something more edgy, one may want to go with snakeskin or crocodile. The possibilities are endless when you consider the large number of prints out there, including leopard, giraffe, and even hyena. Animal prints can be catered to suite every individual’s style perfectly.

For more sophisticated woman, a standard leopard, cheetah, or zebra print swimsuit can look fun and summer-like, yet still capture the chic and elegant style one would want to exude with their everyday wardrobe. A brown leopard print would look beautiful paired with a sarong and a large floppy hat. A touch of gold beach-friendly jewelry, such as a pendant necklace or bangles would add that extra touch of femininity for summer gatherings. For the more edgy woman, a metallic snakeskin or textured crocodile print would look perfect. These prints exude a subtle fierceness that allows one to keep their bold sense of style even by the pool. Paired with large sunglasses and studded accessories, this makes for the perfect summer swimsuit to compliment sun kissed skin. For those who are more fun loving and vibrant, animal prints in neon colors will do the trick. Paired with metallic framed sunglasses and subtle rhinestone accessories, these will radiate one’s bright and bubbly personality without looking too flashy. Swimwear similar to this is especially popular among the teenage crowd because it combines bright elements with a classic print, adding much needed style for summer activities. For those who prefer a standard solid color bathing suit, or who want more coverage, animal print sarongs,
pareos, tunics, maxi dresses, rompers, and sundresses are a necessity. As with bathing suits, there are a large variety of prints and colors to be utilized. With animal prints, style does not have to be sacrificed at the beach or pool. Every woman wants to feel beautiful and radiant during the warm summer months, and choosing animal print beachwear is the perfect way to accomplish that.

The versatility of animal print swimwear is truly what makes it such a great staple in every woman’s summer collection. Animal prints never go out of style, so your swimsuits and accessories are sure to last in your collection for years to come. Animal prints also are not restricted by age. As mentioned before, animal prints can be classy and sophisticated, edgy and bold, or vibrant and young. There are really no limits or restrictions on what kind of style animal print swimwear can portray. When you’re out shopping for that perfect bathing suit or beautiful cover up this summer, make sure not to pass up on the animal print, because it is what will set you apart in style and give you the extra boost of confidence you need.
